The My Adventure series and The Big Hungry Tree are all on the Victorian Premiers Reading Challenge list.
We have had a wonderful response for all our books over the years with My Melbourne Adventure and My Mornington Peninsula Adventure repeatedly on bestsellers lists. We have discovered the importance of children identifying places and enjoying their own adventures.
The Big Hungry Tree is quickly being recognised as a fun interactive children’s book, with additional elements such as a counting scale and repetitive rhymes. Ned the wombat reads the book with you and shares his unique thoughts. Ned has Aspergers Syndrome or ASD – Autistic Spectrum Disorder. Whilst Neds thoughts do not distract from the story for mainstream children, it begins an awareness journey that is so important to those with ASD.
